Art Seymour is probably best known for his UNCLE SAM work at Quality. He was a vaguely Kirbyesque artist who worked also for MLJ, Fawcett and some of the smaller companies. Seen here is the always fun NIGHTMARE AND SLEEPY strip in its full-on Batman-mode.

The twists themselves here are nice, but ya gotta wonder 'bout the forensics. If a person seems to have shot him- or herself and the apparent wound isn't really pronounced, then there's an expectation that those who happen upon the scene may check for a pulse. &c. There seems to have been no good reason for the creation of an empty grave.
