GINGER was MlJ's own somewhat successful attempt at mining the success of ARCHIE with a female version. Although often done with Harry Sahle, this episode was signed simply, "Ginger," the pen name of Janice Valleau (Winkleman). Ms. Winkleman dies at the end of 2013. R.I.P.
